Hi, my name is Simon,
At the age of 30 I is one of the youngest in the wildlife tour guiding business, but I have over 12 years of leading and guiding experience across the UK and Europe, including countries such as France, Norway, Svalbard, Finland, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Spain, Greece, Portugal, the Canary Islands, and further afield such as Sri Lanka & North America. I love meeting people and sharing with them the things that excite me about nature, especially my main area of expertise which is bird behaviour.
I am fortunate to work in and around the county as a professional wildlife holiday tour director & leader, as a guest speaker/lecturer, a Conservation & Wilding Advisor, and Woodland Officer.
I have always been passionate by our natural world, being fascinated by the Collins Bird Guide when I was just 2. After receiving my first pair of binoculars at the age of 6 and my interests have shaped my life to date. I have lived in Kent all my life and have been working and volunteering in and around conservation and wildlife education for over 15 years now.
I decided to set up private bird classes & small group tours across the South-east to help enthuse people about birds, and to encourage a greater number of people to share birds and birdwatching. I feel very fortunate that most of my guests and participants on all my events are repeat bookings.
If you’d like to join me then please do get in touch.
With very best wishes,
