Hi, my name is Simon,

Thank you for visiting my website!

I am a Wildlife Tour Leader and have over 14 years of leading and guiding experience across the UK and Europe, specialising in countries such as France, Norway, Finland, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, and further afield such as Sri Lanka & North America.  I love meeting people and sharing with you the things that excite me about nature, especially my main area of expertise which is bird behaviour.

I am fortunate to work in and around the county as a professional wildlife holiday tour director & leader, as a guest speaker/lecturer, Ecologist, and Reserve Warden.

I have always been passionate by our natural world, being fascinated by the Collins Bird Guide when I was just 2. After receiving my first pair of binoculars at the age of 6, my interests have shaped my life to date. I have lived in Kent all my life and have been working and volunteering in and around conservation and wildlife education for over 19 years now.

I decided to set up private bird classes & small group tours across the South-east to help enthuse people about birds, and to encourage a greater number of people to share birds and birdwatching.  I feel very fortunate that most of my guests and participants on all my events are repeat bookings.

If you’d like to join me then please do get in touch.

With very best wishes,
Simon

Just to say thank you and how much everyone enjoyed your talk including the sounds of birds and wildlife during it on ‘A Woodland Year’ last night at our AGM. We will be in touch in the new year to see what walks etc. we may be able to do.
